RA Aggregates can arrange for delivery of bulk
materials. A delivery charge is made for each trip
regardless of the amount of materials purchased.
Dump trucks can only deliver one type of material at
a time. The amounts of material that can be hauled
vary by truck and are strictly enforced.
All deliveries are done by outside contractors and
not employees of RA Materials. Deliveries are set up
as a courtesy to our customers, if they would like to
set up trucking on their own, an employee of RA
Aggregates will gladly share a list of trucking
companies in our area.
Deliveries are scheduled on a first come, first serve
basis: the sooner a customer arranges a delivery,
the more likely they are to receive it quickly.
However, RA Aggregates does not control the
trucking company’s schedule or its availability but
will work with the company to try and schedule
delivery for a convenient time.
The customer is responsible to provide safe,
reasonable access to the actual drop location of the
products. If the driver determines that conditions
are unsafe to dump and no safe alternative is found,
the load will be returned to RA materials. The
customer will be charged for the delivery and a 10%
restocking fee of the cost of materials for the load.
Any future loads will be canceled until conditions
are corrected. If a customer or representative is
not going to be present at the time of delivery,
dump site must be marked with marking paint, a
tarp, or a large bucket and a description of dump
location given at time of order. If the marker for the
dump location cannot be found by the driver, the
load will be returned to RA Aggregates and
customer will be charged for the delivery and a 10%
restocking fee of the cost of materials for the load.
Delays due to trucking, weather, natural disasters,
and/or circumstances beyond our control are not
the responsibility of RA Aggregates, but RA
Aggregates will work with customers to reschedule
in those circumstances. While every attempt is
made to adhere to the delivery schedule, it is
possible for the schedule to change. RA Aggregates
will make reasonable attempts to notify the
customer of any changes as we become aware of
them.
Most dump trucks require at least 11’ height
clearance and a 10’ clearance for driving. Dump site
must be level and clear of overhead powerlines,
trees, and other structures. Damages to property,
trees, sprinkler systems, septic systems, etc. is the
customer’s responsibility.
